Hello Again Everyone!

As you might have noticed I've changed the blog template again. hopefully this new look will stay for a while.

Also there's a new announcement i want to make, from now on my blog post will not only include the usual crafty posts, but also some beauty and specially Nail Art posts. Why, you ask, because i love it, i paint my nail every week, i'm proud of what i make, and specially because it will bring the blog to a new life. So i hope you all support this decision.

So i'll try to make a nail art post on a weekly basis, sometimes when i have a subject i'll also post some crafty stuff i make, and i might even join a few random post to the party, if i feel like it.

Now moving on to this week post, and opening the weekly nail art post.

Today i'm going to show you my "Happy Owloween" nails (yes, i name my designs sometimes).

Hi Everyone,

it's been a while, I know, but i haven't had much time or inspiration to post, and i haven't done everything worth posting here, that's the problem with having a blog with a very specific theme. So today, as a looong and boring class passes by, i found five minutes to write this. It's not much but its all i have by now.

So here it is, official announcement, recently i made a partnership with a  friend of mine that is also a blogger. you can check her blog here : The Fashionista Pretender . I'm secretly jealous of her, she has this wonderful blog and a lot of kind enthusiastic followers. Also the main theme of her blog is amazing.

You're probably asking yourselves what kind of  partnership it is, so my friend has a blog about beauty, fashion and mostly nail polish/art witch i also love, and she asked me to make a video about nail stamping to her blog and so i did, you can check it out in A crafty thing youtube account (yes, we have one now).

As you can see the blog is expanding a little bit by himself, and maybe i'll post some of my nail art once in a while(would you like it?), it's also probable that I make a couple more posts to  The Fashionista Pretender and i may post them here for you.

and that's all, have a good week
 xoxoxo

Hey guys!

I know it's been a while since the last time, i went trough finals just fine, went on a little vacation with my mom, and now I'm back. Although I've been on a very lazy mood these days, my mom asked me if i could fix a bracelet from one of her friends and i ended up making a couple of things more, with stuff i found on my little box of wonders =D.

Let me show you:

On the left we have the one i just fixed, it was missing some of its gorgeous freshwater pearls, i bought 4 more and just assembled it (easy job). I'm actually thinking of making one for myself, but the pearls are a bit expensive. it will have to wait.

Now moving on to the original work:

On top, a bracelet i made specially for my mother, who was asking for a black bracelet she could mix with some others she already has. o did not want it to be all black (fake) pearls, because i think it looks too plain, so i added those shiny things in the middle.

On the bottom is a brooch i made with some lost beads i had here. The picture does not show clearly but that red one is a beautiful bright red, like an apple. then i added a ribbon made by myself (took me a while to pass the metal through it, but i got there eventually), and voila some nice brooch was made.

And that's all, i hope i can come back soon with more cute stuff! bye bye! =D xoxoxo

Hello fellow crafters, it's been half an year since i made my last post, and I'm terribly sorry about it. Truth is for a while, i didn't had, the time the patience or the mood for crafts. i was busy and lots of other stuff kept appearing. I could promise I'll never do it again, but i won't make such an empty promise. because i know myself and I'll probably get busy with all kinds of "shenanigans" again, I'm sorry. =(

But never mind, here i am now, and I'm going to show you what I've been up to, in one word: FIMO! also best known as polymer clay. For a long time, I've been watching and gathering youtube videos on this subject, and i wanted to try it, but in the past i had a bad experience with it so at first i resisted the urge to buy an whole store of polymer clay and stuff.

So, last week i went to an Art store and bought 6 different colours. i didn't know what i was doing yet, but i bought some pastel colours, black and some creme one to make dolls and stuff. And yesterday i finally decided, I was gonna make a chibi geisha doll! So after a long day of study for my exams, i set up my stuff and started working.

The first one i made didn't go so well, it was terribly cute, but my oven burnt it all. (i set it in a lower temperature than what says in the package but it does not work very well and after 25 minutes my fimo doll started to melt). I panicked for a bit but then i decided to make another one, I'm glad i did because it was even better than the first one.

To make the rose cheeks i used my own blush BEFORE cooking (normally pastel chalks are used for this, but i misplaced mine). After baking i painted some details with nail polish, i was gonna use acrylic paint, but i didn't have red, and i realised why use my 4 colours of acrylic, when i have like 50 different shades of polish(ah ah, 50 shades...).

And that's it for today!! (wow, i reaaally made a long post!)
